February 2021 Project of The Month: Rocky Pond Estate Winery

Rocky Pond Estate Winery opens a new tasting room in the Woodin Creek development in downtown Woodinville. It offers an elevated culinary program to provide an exclusive wine and hospitality experience. Inspired by family bicycle trips in France and Italy, the Dufenhorst family learned the art of winemaking through families where winemaking had been handed down for generations. They learned how to respect the vineyards and the meticulous care needed to produce amazing wines. Rocky Pond Estate Winery has grown from a one-acre lot on the Columbia River to an award-winning winery spanning over 390 acres across their vineyards.

WN was honored to partner with Boxwood, an integrated design studio, and SKB Architects, a full-service architecture and interior design firm. Boxwood and SKB provided dynamic concepts that encompassed their vision of Rocky Pond's new tasting room. Together we created detailed designs that worked with the architecture of the space. The WN team was thrilled to build three exterior signs and thirteen interior elements. This included environmental graphics, custom blackened steel architectural details, laser-cut wayfinding elements, and exterior illuminated signage.
