Rainier R Replica The original Rainier R was one of the most iconic signs in the history of Seattle. Only one side was lit with neon and bulbs and it was intended to rotate but after Rainier closed their doors it was removed in 1999. Now restored, it sits proudly at The Museum of History and Industry.

Western Neon was very honored to be able to work so closely with Pabst Blue Ribbon, to bring the new R back to reclaim the urban skyline once more. This project was brought to us about a year ago and with the help from so many great companies like Pabst, Columbia Distributing, and MOHAI, it became a reality. With such a great sign there were many memorable events that returned the R to its rightful home on the Old Rainier Brewery.

Maybe you were able to join us in these festivities or at least catch us in the media. We hope you feel a sense of pride when you drive by and see the R back on top!

Thank you Seattle!
