The Pine Box replaces Chapel Bar in the retail portion of the renovated Butterworth Funeral Home, the host of Bruce Lee’s funeral in 1973. The founder of Seattle Beer Week, Ian Roberts, runs Pine Box which has become a booming beer hall in Seattle’s party central Capitol Hill neighborhood.

Pine Box stays true to the historical vibe of the chapel building, but still mixes styles by choosing a retro arrow design. This eye grabbing double-sided blade sign measures at 4’4″x6’11” and is made from .090 aluminum painted distressed charcoal and cream. The logo is painted black with red and cream vinyl graphics and features 68 linear ft. of 10mm 4500 white neon, 16 linear ft. of clear red neon, and 72 warm white LED bulbs along the border.
