Established since 1952, MOHAI museum, or the Museum of History and Industry, is Washington’s largest private heritage organization with a focus on Seattle and the Puget Sound area. Western Neon fabricated and installed a complete sign package for MOHAI located in the South Lake Union neighborhood. On the exterior of the building Western Neon created and installed north, south, west, and east elevations! The South Elevation facing SLU pops with “MOHAI” vertically aligned in bold with a compass graphic as their “O”. The North Elevation tower facing Lake Union itself reads “MOHAI” Museum of History and Industry” in a square format. The West and East elevations also read “Museum of History and Industry” for all around branding presence, in a stunning horizontal and spaced out alignment filling 126’9.5″ x 2′ space on either sides of the structure. All lettering was made from 1/4″ aluminum water jet cut with digital print graphics and painted to match the existing wall for a polished look.
